The Finland Start-Up Residence Permit is designed for innovative international entrepreneurs who want to establish and grow a scalable, high-growth startup in Finland.
To qualify, founders must first receive a positive eligibility statement from Business Finland, confirming that their startup idea is innovative, scalable and has strong growth potential. Once endorsed, entrepreneurs can apply for a residence permit as a start-up entrepreneur, allowing them to live and work in Finland while building their company, with the possibility to work toward long-term residency and expansion across the EU.
